THE PRE-BIRTH JOURNEY – A Two-Day Introductory Workshop – Friday May 15th (evening) to Sunday 17th May 2026 incl. – With Howard G Charing
A gentle, insightful introduction to understanding how our earliest emotional patterns are formed, and how we can transform them.
There are moments in life when something in us senses that our patterns of feeling, relating, and responding run deeper than we can easily explain. These patterns can feel familiar, persistent, and sometimes quietly influential, shaping how we experience ourselves and others in ways that are not always clear.
This introductory workshop offers a gentle and grounded space to explore these deeper layers of experience. It invites a different kind of attention, one that is less about finding answers and more about recognising what is already present, and allowing understanding to emerge naturally over time.
Rather than attempting to revisit the past in a literal sense, the work is rooted in present-moment awareness. Participants are supported in noticing how patterns arise in the body, in feeling, and in relationship, and in exploring how these may connect to early developmental influences.
Many aspects of our emotional and relational life begin to form before language and conscious memory are fully developed. This includes both our biological development and the relational environment in which that development unfolds. In this workshop, these influences are approached as patterns of experience that can be observed and reflected upon, rather than as fixed or definitive causes.
The process is non-directive, non-hypnotic, and gently paced. It does not involve regression or the recovery of literal memory, and is not intended as a form of therapy. Instead, it supports awareness, reflection, and gradual integration in a safe and responsibly held environment.
What Participants May Experience
Through engagement with the workshop, participants may begin to develop:
These are not guaranteed outcomes, but natural developments that may emerge through participation and ongoing reflection.
The Nature of the Work
This approach is based on the understanding that meaningful change develops through awareness rather than force. By learning to stay with experience as it unfolds, without needing to analyse or interpret it, a deeper and more integrated understanding can begin to take shape.
The emphasis throughout is on awareness, presence, and integration. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace, within a carefully held and supportive environment.
Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is open to anyone with a genuine interest in self-exploration and personal development. It may be particularly relevant for:
